These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Jose Luis Tirado under the name El Tío Autocredit ("I", "me", "my"). By using this site or submitting a form, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site.

1. What this website is

This website provides information about vehicle financing and allows you to request a pre-qualification review, ask questions and schedule an appointment.

This website is not a lender. I am a licensed salesperson who reviews your situation and presents your application to lenders. I do not approve financing, set interest rates or determine credit terms. Those decisions belong entirely to the lending institution.

2. No guarantee of approval

Nothing on this website is an offer of credit or a promise of approval.

Approval, interest rates, down payment requirements and all other terms are determined solely by the lender, based on your credit profile and the lender's own criteria.

A pre-qualification review is an assessment, not a commitment from me or from any lender.

Timelines for a lender's response vary and cannot be guaranteed.

No vehicle price or financing rate is published on this site, and no figure discussed before approval is binding.

3. No professional advice

Information on this website is general and provided for your information only. It is not financial, legal, tax or credit-repair advice, and it does not account for your individual circumstances. Consider seeking independent professional advice before making a financial decision.

4. Eligibility

To use the services offered through this site you must be at least the age of majority in British Columbia and legally able to enter into a contract. Services are offered to residents of Vancouver and the surrounding Metro Vancouver area, in British Columbia.

5. Your responsibilities

When you use this website you agree to:

- Provide accurate, current and complete information.

- Submit only documents that belong to you or that you are authorized to provide.

- Not submit false, altered or fraudulent documents or information.

- Not use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that interferes with its operation.

- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.

Submitting false information may result in the refusal of your application and may be reported to the relevant lender or authority.

6. Credit checks

Requesting a pre-qualification requires your consent for me to obtain your credit report and to share your information with lenders. A credit enquiry may be recorded on your credit file and may affect your credit score. See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Live chat and automated responses

This website provides a live chat service that may use automated technology to answer common questions.

Automated responses are general in nature, may be incomplete or inaccurate, and do not constitute an assessment of your file, an offer of credit or a commitment of any kind. Only a review I carry out personally reflects your actual situation.

8. Appointments

Appointments booked through this site are subject to availability and confirmation. I may reschedule or cancel an appointment where necessary and will make reasonable efforts to notify you.

9. Vehicles and additional services

Vehicle availability, models and condition are subject to change and to the inventory available at the time of purchase. Any assistance with registration, plating or insurance is provided as a support service and is subject to the requirements of the applicable provider or authority.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, images, video, logos and the El Tío Autocredit name, belongs to me or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute it without written authorization.

Client testimonial videos are published with the consent of the individuals appearing in them and may not be reproduced.

11. Third-party links

This site may link to third-party websites, social media profiles and messaging services. I do not control them and am not responsible for their content, practices or availability.

12. Availability of the site

I make reasonable efforts to keep this website available and accurate, but I do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the content is free of errors. I may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, from reliance on its content, from automated chat responses, or from a lender's decision regarding your application.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

15. Regulatory status

Jose Luis Tirado is a salesperson licensed by the Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia, Salesperson Licence # S317935. The licence number is published so it can be independently verified.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.

17. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The revised version takes effect when posted on this page, and the date at the top will reflect the change.
